Wild asparagus steamed in the Thermomix

Recipe wild asparagus in the varoma, ideal to take care and eat delicious, as well as very simple to prepare with the Thermomix

Steamed vegetables are fashionable in my house, we love them and they are inexpensive and quick to prepare.

Either because you like to take care of yourself or because you need to know what recipe to prepare with asparagus and the thermomix, you are in the ideal place, we are going to make in just 20 minutes some delicious asparagus using the varoma.

I recommend washing them very well, although we are going to cook them well it is important to eliminate any traces of dirt or fertilizers, so they will be healthier still, the trick is to use a splash of vinegar in the water to break their surface tension and help to clean the fruit and vegetable.

Ingredients for making Steamed Asparagus in the Thermomix

1 Bunch of wild asparagus
1 pinch Of coarse salt
1 l Of water

Preparation of wild asparagus steamed in the Thermomix

Wash the asparagus well and cut a little of its stem, discard this piece.

Add the liter of water to the glass of the Thermomix.

Place the asparagus in the trays of the varoma and place it in its position.

Program the thermomix 18 minutes / varoma temperature / 2 speed. Puncture with a fork and check that they are to our liking, if we want them softer add 5 more minutes.

Serve by sprinkling the salt, if it is thicker. We can also add a splash of extra virgin olive oil to give a delicious touch to our asparagus.

Trick: we can accompany them with boiled eggs and ham, they are super rich. I also like them with very small toasted bacon sliced.
