Romesco sauce in the Thermomix. Homemade, easy and delicious - you can't miss it!

Romesco sauce is typical of Catalonia, where it has become popular for its calsots accompanied by this delicious sauce.

You can add a piece of chilli in the last step if you like it even more spicy. You can also do without one of the two nuts - make it either with almonds or only with hazelnuts, doubling the amount of these rich nuts that we select.

Now, to put on our apron and cook this delicious romesco sauce with the Thermomix in a pee pas.

Ingredients for making Romesco sauce in the Thermomix

4 tomatoesvery mature

½ head of garlic
100 ml EVOOextra virgin olive oil
25 ml of vinegar
40 g of almondsfried without skin
40 g of hazelnutsskinless toast
1 slice of hard breador fried
1 garlic clove
1 cdta of salt

Preparation of Romesco sauce in the Thermomix

Put the lady soak at least 4 hours before preparation, the ideal is the night before.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, wash the tomatoes, remove the branch and cut the tomatoes cross at their base. Put them with the cut face up in the oven next to the half head of garlic.

Heat up and down, 30 minutes if it has a fan or 40 if it is not.

Meanwhile, we put in the Thermomix glass almonds, hazelnuts, hard bread, salt and raw garlic clove, program 30 seconds at speed 7.

When the tomatoes and the half head of garlic are ready - we open the lady and remove all the seeds and the tail. Peel the tomatoes and garlic cloves that we bake and put them in the glass next to the lady, program 30 seconds at speed 7.

Program at speed 4 and 1/2 without time or temperature, put the beaker in the lid and add the oil to it so that it falls slowly and thus emulsify the romescu sauce with the Thermomix.
