Pickled octopus in the Thermomix

Fish are one of the most used foods to prepare marinade, although it can also be made with other types of meat. It can be done cold or hot. Today we bring a delicious cold marinade based on octopus. Prepare your thermomix and get to work.

Ingredients for making pickled octopus in the Thermomix

700 g octopus
½ green pepper
½ red pepper
½ yellow pepper
1 carrot
2 onions
40 g from sherry vinegar
20 g of white wine
1 thyme twig
1 bay leaf
1 pinch of sweet paprika
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation of pickled octopus in the Thermomix

Place the wine along with the thyme and bay leaf in the glass of your Thermomix.

Cut the carrot into slices and place them in the basket with the octopus, to which you must have removed the spikes and ink. Add salt to taste and water to cover and program in 100 ° for 30 minutes at 1 speed.

Once the octopus is cooked, let the carrot, thyme and bay leaf rest in the glass until they cool.

Cut the peppers in dice and the onion in julienne. Season with salt and pepper to taste and rehogalos in olive oil for 10 minutes at 1 speed at 100 °.

Add the vinegar and sweet paprika and program for 5 more minutes. Add the carrot, thyme and bay leaf and reserve.

Cut the octopus into cubes and pour it over the preparation. Refrigerate and let cool overnight.
