Light oat pancakes in the Thermomix

They are fluffy and very tasty so nothing to envy to other pancakes, the best of all is that these pancakes are light and have a great protein contribution thanks to the egg whites - additionally they do not have more fat than the little that the semi milk provides. .

If you like these pancakes, be sure to try the apple pancakes with cinnamon in the Thermomix

Tricks to make the pancakes lighter

  • Use sweetener instead of sugar. Use the conversion that each manufacturer explained - I use stevia.
  • Put skim milk instead of semi.
  • Use light syrups - there is a lot of variety on the market.
  • Instead of syrup, serve with freshly cut fruit and a little yogurt.

Preparation of light oat pancakes in the Thermomix

1

Put the oats in the Thermomix glass. This must be clean and dry since we will make oatmeal and the humidity can spoil the process. Program 20 seconds at progressive speed 5-10.

It should be a fine flour as seen in the photo.

2

Add the egg whites, we can use the yolks for another dessert so don't throw them away.

3

Also add the sugar, milk, vanilla, lemon zest, vanilla essence and baking powder.

Program 20 seconds at progressive speed 5-8.

4

Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.

5

Heat a pan and spread a little oil or butter, add a portion of the mixture of our oatmeal pancakes with Thermomix and wait for bubbles on that side to turn.

6

Brown on the other side, and remove from heat. Repeat this with all the pancakes.

7

Serve the oatmeal pancakes with honey or syrup, in my case I used a chocolate one that I had at home 🙂
