In our house there is no lack of gazpacho, especially when the heat arrives, so we usually have a cold jar of good homemade gazpacho with its touch of crispy ham, which in addition to everything, is very easy to prepare thanks to the thermomix.

Gazpacho is a cold soup that we consume in a large part of Spanish territory mainly in summer, although it can be consumed all year round. Its ingredients include extra virgin olive oil, tomato, cucumber, peppers, onion and garlic; with variants that range from beans to bitter oranges, although the version that today we will make of gazpacho with the thermomix is ​​the modern one - the one we are used to, since the gazpacho has evolved a lot.

Making gazpacho in the thermomix is ​​a pleasure, it is practically only so there are no excuses not to prepare this delicious dish at home and take advantage of all its benefits: lycopene, vitamins, good fats.

Ingredients to make Gazpacho thermomix

1 kg of ripe tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
55 g of green pepper
40 g of onion
70 g of semi-peeled cucumber
30 g of vinegar
1 cdta of salt
80 g of extra virgin olive oil
200 g of cold water
4 slices of ham serrano

Preparation of Gazpacho thermomix

Put the vegetables, the vinegar, the ice and the salt in the glass of the thermomix.

Program 30 seconds at 5 speed (chop and shred).

Program 3 minutes at 10 speed (fine liqueur).

Program 5 seconds in 6 speed while adding the oil through the lid, this makes it have better color than if we incorporate it at the beginning.

Spread the ham slices on kitchen absorbent paper over a flat plate

Insert the dish in the microwave about 2 minutes at maximum power. The ham will release the grease that will be stuck to the absorbent paper. Remove from the paper and let cool.

It is crushed and added just before serving to preserve its texture and flavor.

Add water if you want it a little more liquid, or ice to cool. If, on the other hand, we want it a bit thicker, you can add some bread from the previous day to the beginning of the recipe.
