Preparation of tater potatoes in the Thermomix

1

Peel the potatoes and let them soak in cold water for a few minutes. Wash them and cut them into medium pieces. Add them in the varoma container. Add 800gr of water to the glass and program at 2 speed for 8 minutes. The idea is that they are somewhat cooked but still whole, they should not be undone.

2

Now, grate them with a cheese grater or with a food processor to form a kind of flakes. If you want an extra flavor, you can also grate half an onion and mix it with the potatoes.

3

In this recipe we will add cheese, but it is optional. Place the cheese cup in the glass for 5 seconds at 4 speed. Add the potatoes, spices, herbs and the rest of the ingredients in 2,5 speed for 7 seconds.

4

Reserve the mixture. We prepare the batter now. We put in the glass Parmesan cheese along with oregano, parsley, pepper, salt, garlic, onion and previously toasted bread. We program in 8 speed for 10 seconds.

5

Form balls with your hand and stretch them to turn them into small cylinders about 2 cms long. Pass them through the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3 or 4 minutes. Stir while frying so that they do not stick to each other.

6

You can keep them frozen for later consumption. To do this, you drain them on absorbent paper and store them in a zip bag.
