How do you prepare the perfect cake? With a lot of nocilla, of course! Or nutella according to the tastes of the consumer, in this recipe for noble cake with the Thermomix we can be flexible when using one or the other - each one has its particular flavor, equally delicious.

Personally, I prefer the nocilla that no longer carries palm oil, but I like the nutella more if we talk about flavor - and here many will say Sacrilegio! - Come on, there's not that much difference between one and the other 🙂 in fact we can prepare nocilla homemade in the Thermomix

To what we came, we will prepare this rich cake of 6 nocilla floors 🙂

Ingredients to make Nocilla cake in the Thermomix

For the chocolate cake
2 cups of confectionery flour
2 cups of white sugar
225 g cocoa powder
2 cdta baking powder
2 cdta baking soda
1 cdta of salt
¼ cup of corn oilor sunflower
¾ cup of butter at room temperature
¾ cup hot water(or coffee)
2 eggsbig
2 cdta vanilla
Nocilla Meringue
6 egg whitesmeticulously separated, with nothing yellow
2 cups of white sugar
2 cups unsalted butter at room temperature
¾ cup of nocillaor nutella
Nocilla Ganache
¾ cup of nocillaor nutella

Preparation of Noble Cake in the Thermomix

For the chocolate cake
1

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, grease 3 molds of 15cm and sprinkle them with cocoa powder, taking care that it reaches every corner of them to avoid sticking the cake.

2

Place all the dry ingredients in the clean and dry glass of the Thermomix, program 10 seconds at 4 speed to mix everything.

3

Add all the wet ingredients except hot water or coffee, to avoid cooking the egg we will add it gradually after starting. Program the Thermomix at 5 speed without time and slowly incorporate the water / coffee through the mouth.

4

Lower the remains with the spatula and program again at 5 speed for 1 minute. With this the mixture should be fine, without lumps. Distribute the mixture evenly between the molds and give small blows dropping on the countertop to remove air and prevent it from breaking when growing in the oven.

5

Bake the 3 biscuits at 180 ° C for about 35 minutes, ensuring that they do not burn. The time varies from oven to oven, so it is convenient after the first 30 minutes to see if it has made a crust, if so check with a wooden stick or a knife, it should be dry when pricking in the center of the cake.

6

Let cool about 10 minutes before unmolding, if you try before you can break the biscuits very easily.

Nutella Swiss Meringue
7

The glass should be clean and very dry, so wash and then dry well with a napkin. Be sure not to leave traces of the previous mixture in the glass or the meringue will not lift. To dry well, after passing the napkin turn on the Thermomix at 8 speed for about 10 seconds and pass the napkin again, you will see how the moisture that was hidden comes out.

8

Place the butterfly in its place, add the egg whites and sugar and program 4 minutes at 50 ° C at 3 and / 2 speed for 5 minutes. Program immediately after another 4 minutes without temperature at 3 and 1 / 2 speed.

Program without time at 3 and 1 / 2 speed and add the butter little by little, then the nocilla or nutella little by little. The meringue will be ready to use, and should be quickly.

Nutella Ganache
9

Place the nocilla / nutella and the cream to mount in the microwave for 10 seconds, mix and repeat if necessary, until everything is completely integrated and uniform. Let cool completely before using it on the cake.

Mounting
10

1 Rule: use your imagination. That said, take the following steps as a presentation suggestion.

11

Cut each cake in half, in total the 6 layers of cake that we talked about at the beginning should be left.

12

Place the first layer of cake on the mounting tray (if you have one of these that rotate better then). Place some noble ganache and some meringue, cover with another layer. Repeat with each layer.

13

Cover with meringue outside, it can be decorated using a cake comb to achieve the desired appearance. Put in the freezer about 20 minutes to harden the surface.

14

Drop the trickles of ganache with a spoon to decorate so that it looks like in the photo. When the meringue cover is cold, the ganache will harden shortly after contact. Finally, with a spatula and a spoon, cover the entire top cover of the cake.

15

Decorate with the rest of the mixture of meringue of nocilla and a pastry bag. Let cool in the refrigerator until it is going to be consumed. Notice that is addictive.

    1. Hi María José, it is not an easy answer, it varies a lot if it is liquid or solid, a cup of liquid ingredients is in the order of the 240g, while if it is for example flour, a cup would be only 110gr, or sugar are 225g = to a cup. That's why it's not easy to convert, I recommend using a cup as a measure 🙂
